We are using Logic Audio Pro 7 for multitracking and sequencing, The Drums were programmed using NI Kontakt 2 and Battery 3, then bounced directly to hard disk. This produces some incredible sonic quality. Some of the synths are from the Alesis Ion, and our Virus TI. Live bass was recorded, and there are live guitars later in the mix. But for that you will have to wait. I'm starting to get tired of music mixed and toned down to fit commercial standards. So for this set of songs we are going to practice "aggressive mixing". The beauty of being an independent artist is you can do what ever you like. We plan on doing just that. Maybe our vision will translate, maybe not. - Case |
